Collaboration with families is essential to each learner’s success. Families will meet monthly with their child’s behavior analyst to review progress, discuss upcoming goals, and explore strategies for supporting skill development at home and in daily routines. As part of this collaboration, families will also participate in ongoing parent training sessions with the BCBA. These sessions are designed to help caregivers better understand the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), learn how to implement behavior strategies effectively, and build confidence in supporting their child’s learning outside of structured sessions. Parent training may include modeling, role-play, feedback, and guided practice, all tailored to the family’s needs and priorities. Consistent participation in parent training helps ensure that newly learned skills generalize across environments and promotes meaningful, long-term progress.
